Atlas Bank rolled out one standard across eleven markets
How a European bank aligned eleven markets on one definition of a good advisory conversation.
- 11
- markets on one scorecard
- 6
- weeks to close the biggest skill gap
- 1,800
- advisors trained in year one
The problem
Atlas Bank opens branches in eleven countries. Every market ran its own onboarding, in its own language, with its own idea of what a good advisory conversation sounds like. Head office had no way to compare, and no way to know whether a new advisor in Lisbon was as ready as one in Warsaw.
What changed
Enablement wrote a single set of scorecards centrally, then let each market localise the scenarios around it. The persona speaks the local language and references local products; the evaluation criteria stay identical.
Training paths gate progression: an advisor unlocks the investment module only after passing the suitability-assessment scenario.
The results
For the first time, head office can put eleven markets on the same chart. Two markets that looked identical on volume turned out to be twenty points apart on risk disclosure — a gap that was invisible before and took six weeks to close.
We didn't want to centralise training. We wanted to centralise the definition of good. Smart Role let us do the second without the first.
Eleven countries, eleven languages, one definition of a good conversation.
